When Julie and Zina mentioned that they will be moving from their country property to the city of Guelph, and that they’ll have to give up one of their dogs due to by-law restrictions, we jumped at the chance to have Annie. Kris and I had been talking for years about getting a dog and now that she’s working from home full time, the timing never seemed better. One look at Annie and it’s easy to see she’s irresistible. Her good looks are only outshone by her wonderful temperament. You’ve no doubt heard of sight hounds and scent hounds, well she’s an Attention hound! Ok, she’s really an Irish Wheaten Terrier mix, but she absolutely L-O-V-E-S to be petted, hugged and cuddled. And just to make absolute sure you know that about her, she’ll put her snout under your hand or elbow and nudge your hand onto her head! Oh and she’s smart too. 🙂
Julie and Zina were kind enough to provide us with as much information as possible regarding her past, which I’ve added to the Little Orphan Annie page here.
Being first time dog owners we couldn’t have asked for a better dog, and undoubtedly she is spoiling us for any other dogs in the future! Speaking of which, we’re now on the lookout for a suitable buddy for her. 🙂
Yeah! A buddy for Annie will keep her out of your hair for a few moments a day and will keep her young. And she loves to play outside with other doggies.
Love reading the articles by Annie. We had all the dogs write emails to Annie today… it’s good for their social development.
Love you guys.
Who would have thought that the long haired, shy, previously poorly treated and attention starved dog we rescued nearly 10 years ago, would end up as the star of Eat Play Woof. She was happy with us and our pack of furry friends however she has really blossomed with her two new Mommies. I am so very glad that you two and Annie turned out to be a match made in Heaven. Love you all.
